To enroll, visit the METCO, Inc., website and review the enrollment requirements:

1. The child must be a Boston resident;
2. The child must be at least five years old, going into kindergarten through 10th grade.

There are also several required documents:

1. Photo ID for the legal guardian;
2. Student birth certificate, proof of legal guardianship, or proof of temporary custody;
3. Proof that you own or rent a home at a Boston address;
4. Two proofs that you live at that Boston address (such as pieces of mail).
